914World.com _ 914World Garage _ New GB - Electrical - Ignition and fuel injection harnesses

Posted by: Mikey914 Feb 5 2020, 01:50 AM

We have been doing these for a while now. We want to bring the cost down, and doing these in quantity will allow for us to to reduce the cost and pass that on. We are looking for 10 of each to get the pricing good for you.

1st
The ignition harnesses -
We have the replicated all of the parts including the L shaped tube at the transmission reverse light.
We have the
70-71
72
73-76
We have these for sale on the site but want to gear up to make in bulk and are offering a price for the GB if we can get 10 takers.

These are correct color coded wires and plugs

Just +1 Ignition harness and the year
we need 10 and can provide these for $210 reg 250
25 and we can make for $199

Now for the Fuel Injection harnesses
These will save you hours of tracking down shorts that are intermittent.
We have the
72+ 1.7 L
and the 73 20.L harnesses
we are just finishing up the early 70-71 harness this week
And can do a 1.8 harness if there is an interest

we have reproduced all the parts needed to make these even the D grommet at the ECU.
As well as the circuit board mount clip. Notice the way we wrap the wires so they will not pull. The only part we didn't reproduce is the "handle" that screws into the bracket on the board, as you shouldn't need to replace them. Ours will accept the old handle.

Best of all we label our ends. Is this the #3 or #4? pretty easy to tell. As well as the other ends. We have taken the liberty of creating a common ground for the 3 leads that require it. easy enough to un-clip and go direct if you wish, but we tried to make it as easy as possible.

These normally go for $494 each, but if we can get 30 takers we can sell these at $399 each. I'm hoping more as we may be able to reduce further if we get the economy of scale

Just need a +1 for the F/I harness with engine and if it's 1.7, early or late.

I think you will like these.

The quality appears to be good from the pictures. If you get enough for the GB I'm in for an ignition harness for a '74.

I purchased and installed the FI harness into my 72' it fit like a glove and all connections worked perfectly. Connectivity is awesome and car runs great.

Best investment you will make for a good running engine. Engine electrical gremlins are a pain.

Is there a close date on this GB?

Posted by: Mikey914 Feb 17 2020, 02:11 PM

Really need 10 commitments of each to make at this price. I do have most in stock, just the cost to make individually is higher. I'm looking to save the difference in economy of scale.

I would like one of the 73 fuel injection harnesses, for a 2 liter engine.
