914World.com _ 914World Garage _ new storage area for Parts Heaven inventory

Posted by: dr914@autoatlanta.com Feb 13 2020, 01:09 PM

We have made a special area for all of the California dry rust free used parts we recently acquired from Al at Parts Heaven. It is only fitting after his life's work that Al's parts be carefully preserved. Attached Image

still do not know how to straighten the picture!

Very nice. Wire racks are the best no dust settles....except on whatever you put on them.

George....this is what I do to make sure the pics show correct side up.

Move them into your viewer on your computer.
Rotate them a full 360 deg, then save them.

Now when you post the pic, it should always show up right side up.
Not sure why this works or why you need to do this, but it's always worked for me.
Crazy computers!

Or you could just figure out which way is up on your phone. Duh.

You'd look a fool if you held your old school camera upside down. Why not learn which side of your phone is up?

Thank you Ray

I do hold it upright that is the problem! Maybe old and stupid, but I have some good common sense Rand

If it's an iPhone, don't use the volume buttons as your shutter. Always use the virtual shutter button on the screen. When the phone is rotated for landscape orientation the virtual shutter button will be on the right end.

I can't really offer any comments on Androids. idea.gif

It's not just George. I took a photo with my iPhone in portrait mode with button at the bottom (nothing UPSIDE DOWN about that!) and the image showed up on its side rotated to the left. Even did the rotate-rotate-rotate as suggested by raynekat and still did not show correctly. I ended up opening in Photoshop and saving it dry.gif
