I thought I would see if the group had their thinking caps on. You only need this a couple of times. But the tool is very handy removing the part.

You are close to correct. Escutcheon tool for removing all the dashboard nuts.

It's for removing pins out of later VW and Audi pin plugs . Might be handy to push female ends out of relay board harness plugs.

Ha! I'm claiming it. I just said headlight switch because that's the only one with a shaft that prevents a good ol' nickel or penny being used for removal. biggrin.gif

I made one by cutting a slice from a washer but not nearly as nice as this one. Now is the time for someone to make those available in a non-scratch plastic material. One of these whiz kids could print some, I'm sure. beerchug.gif
