914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Reminder on wrench sizes need on turbo tie rod swap?

Posted by: Tdskip Mar 3 2020, 06:54 AM

I blame having teenagers in the house, but I cannot remember the size wrenches I will need to swap out/in turbo tie rods.

Anyone remember off hand?

Thanks!

Here’s a link to the one I got on amazon. I’m told you can get these at bike shops too...

Thanks guys.

So that is why I have those big flat wrenches in the tool box!

I keep a box of odd wrenches for brakes, suspension and mark them with different colored tape for easy reference. Sorry, on vacation in Florida so I can't check on the tie rods size. They went with me to the auto-cross and track events for years.....fast and easy to adjust for 1/4 inch toe out for auto-cross then back for the ride home. Best, Mark
