Among other parts of my wire harness. I'm missing the wires that go to the reverse light switch in the transaxle. I am guessing there is not a plastic connector that holds the contacts, so I just need to find some of the bullet contacts and the rubber boot. My question is how is the wire routed so that it does not end up wrapped around the CV joint? I don't see anything on the body or the transaxle to secure the wire.
Hard to explain. The new harnesses have a solid stiffener that keeps it arced up out of the way.
Hopefully Jeff will chime in and give you the 411.

Off the top of my head can't remember which one. But I think its the 5mm.
Its stiffer than 14, maybe 10. How about aluminium clothes line.
They sell it at Ace or Home Depot. Then heat shrink the ends.
Then heat shrink over everything.
Are you missing the entire harness?
It looks like this
If it's as easy as just splicing the2 wires in. We make the angles tube to keep the clearance, but I have seen many without.
