A mass grave has been discovered in Canada. Details at this time are limited but this discovery has been confermed. So far the bodies of 21 poor little 914’s have been found.

Run a background search on the VINs or some pin head might take you to court.

What did you buy Mark? Did you just wave cash at him or did he check his Porsche pricing on the computer first? |

We got a few good sets
So WTF? You guys found this and just let then scap the cars? Tell us you intervened.
Ummm...when we got there the scrap trucks were already there...we got 6 of them (and parts) in 24hrs. These were NOT rollers.
I understand the sickness of having parts cars, but why did he/she/they have so many? I have a friend in my SCCA region that is a "collector" of vintage autos in need of restoration He even has a few 914 rusted POS tubs, wont sell them or part them he is going to fix them all
A competing Porsche shop...can't say much...part of the deal.
Is that you, Mark, pissing on the red one?

there is a place in south san diego (NC) that buys many. strips them out and crushes them to drive up parts prices
A sad moment for Canada indeed....

Dave (balljoint) is correct...that's Mike and he's pissing with a torch.
Dave did you buy the yellow teen off of Mike?
If you did that's going to be one sweet ride.
Don't know what happened to the pic's...they're all a bit fuzzy. Taking camera lessons from Andy.
Yup, that's mine. Thanks, I am liking it a lot so far. It was a very good solid starting point, nothing like my first car. There is nothing like getting on your first 914 purchase, to make you appreciate the value of a solid chassis. It's a big boat and there are a lot of us in it. Mike made it relatively easy to get into this car and I am freeking pumped to get it out and drive it.
Think of it this way...you have a parts car
That's a real solid tub and the hard part (body and paint) is done. Your on the right track buddy!
Better start bugging Mike to have it ready for the show!
How was this site discovered?
Any prototypes amongst them?

You can't be taking lessons from Andy. There are no pictures of your foot. |
Fucking liberal goverments telling property owners what to do with there land is disgusting. I wish a slow death to all them busy body do gooders that fuck with folks property and what they keep on it.
Just had the city cite me for a property violation, drove around the neighborhood, and in a short time had 300 simular violations, including at a City Council members home!!!
I told code enforcement that if they didn't drop the issue with me (which came in as an anomynus complaint) I would turn in all 300 violations, and would gather a 1000 more by the end of the week. I had nieghbors willing to help me find more "violators".
Code enforcment droped my citation faster than a goose shits!
At anyrate sad to see them cars gone.
Guess that make mine all that more rare and exclusive, right????
Old thread........ but still sad to see.
Just wish people would take care of the cars
So, did you get the VIN numbers?
Andy
*pieces of a dream*
The only difference it motivation to work.
I bet you have seen that many 914,s in your grasp since this thread started...
You are a savior to our community, please keep cutting them up.
There are those of us who still need parts...
Very sad indeed
R.I.P. Oh little P cars....R.I.P
Those will all be posted by Beverly Hills Car Club in a week or two for $10,000 each.
You have a job to do? Get down there and save them they all could be on the street with just 30k each.
