Bonsoir,
I bought in France a few monthes ago an import from US 2.0 GA.
Great car, rust free, dolphin green but re painted but Ray Charles or Stevie in red.

I started a big service of the car to fix all the small PB it has.
First one is a very high idle.
Throttle seems to be a very high mileage one, there are some spaces between the buterfly and the body.
This is perhaps why the hole in the butterfly is closed by a screw in it.
With the idle air screw fully closed, idle is at 1600, turning the screw operate on the idle, but could only make it higher.

Tomorrow I will check ignition timing.
It seems to me there is no air leak, the only one is across the buterfly play.

Is it a common fail ?
Should I re-put the screw in the hole ?

Sounds like a timing issue to me. Had the same problem and the mechanic had the timing off 180 degrees. Never went back there again.

Some works on the car today.
Timing is OK.
Found a Vaccum leak

Where could I find this part ?

Without this vaccum leak, idle is at 1000 rpm and the engine die if I put my finger on the butterfly hole.
That is to say, the hole is usfull for idle.

On this part was plugged the second vaccum to the ignitor.
Why are there to vaccum to the ignitor ?

I wouldn't go to timing issue first. Well, I mean it needs to be accurate, but... Vacuum leak if FI. Hopefully no carbs, but you didn't say what your system is. I think Curt nailed it.

The system is a stock Djet GA engine.
No modification.
Now run fine, start like a champion, cold idle at 1400 and 1000 after 2 minutes.
