Folks,
Hope all is well where you are. Man am I sick of this.
Anyway, Can anyone recommend a decent cover. Heavy duty, I know "waterproof" is often listed but rarely found. My '74 has to spend part of her time outside and I want to make sure she's as covered as possible. Thanks in advance.
I've had the custom-fit Coverking for many years. I don't use it much anymore but it seems to be decent. I think it's the Stormproof model?
Cover king always has sales. Just sign up for their emails.
Great! Thanks for the help!
On the less expensive end... I have had a Coleman 'executive', the brown one, for a year now. It's under a shade tree so I'm sure that helps a bit but it's holding up very well. It's snug on a 914 with F&R tits. Much much nicer than the price suggested (~$30).
I also bought a few Budge last summer when Walmart was dumping the overstock. 3 Rain Barrier, one replaced already at 4 months and the other 2 will likely in the first year & a Neverwet that is seeping on the side that gets morning sun. The warranty process is painless and will be used often I'm afraid.
I had a Budge Tyvek for years that was great and a base model also from 10 years ago that has held up though now it seeps but drys fast.

This thing was a perfect fit and price - never leaked a drop.

I bought a MotorTrend reflective silver cover for the Cayman for $30. I figured what the hell, if it wasn't that good, not a lost of $ lost. I was totally surprised when it came ... almost as good as the little thicker reflective silver ones I bought for the 914 and The Ghia for $130. ea.
I bought the ones for the 914 & Ghia from e-Trailer (they had the best price - at least at the time)
