start at the fuse box. it has been a while since i looked at the diagrams on the bird board or you can download them here. i think ( if its like the 911) there are two relays that can cause your problem, but also the ign switch, the head light switch and the turn signal stalk all come into play.

check all the bulbs and the fuse box first. then i would suspect the stalk.

good luck. the hazard switch has a relay that ties the left and right markers together. i would suspect the power comming into the stalk switch if you cannot find an obvious problem like a loose wire at the fuse box.

you will go blind if you stare at the diagram to long. print it and take a highlighter to it. yellow is faster.
