914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Tin question

Posted by: Tjmrfe Jul 31 2020, 06:44 PM

Guys, I’m in the last stage of my build....lol, I keep saying that to keep my spirits up...any way , I’m missing a bottom tin . I’ve attached a pics to see if they help decipher which one I’m missing So, underneath the thermostat there’s a tin, it mounts to the engine case fine, however there’s two more bolt holes that seem to mount to.....where? ....It’s right under the case near the valve cover? It fit there perfectly so I’ll assume it’s in the correct spot? I’ve looked at the diagrams on AA website, I don’t see one that makes sense...it’s a 75 1.8
Thanks.

Pass side warm guide for 75/76 heat-exchangers. Earlier ones won't work.

With many heat exchanger back dating projects and header conversions, the later versions are near worthless. You should be able to source one for cheap+shipping.
