So a co-worker asks if I'd help a friend of hers sell or get rid of a Porsche she has sitting in her garage. Apperantly her husband passed on a few years ago and this car has been sitting in the garage for about 10 years while undergoing a full on restoration.

Rebuilt motor sitting in the corner, straight chassis sitting in the middle of the garage, she has no idea if it's a 914 or 911 or ????

All I got was she thinks it's either a targa or convert.

You're all a bunch of bastards Of course the 924 has been sitting since last Thurs with a busted fuel pump But up until then I drove it everyday. Except for that one day when the coil went out, and those 2 years when I let it sit cause the pilot bearing kept going south. Yeah I hope it is a 924

I would (might?) kill for a 928 B+B Targa. The damn thing had stereo equalizers (full graphic, no less!) lining the headliner beam that makes the car more like a T-top than a true targa, despite the single-panel roof.

Highly efficient, those overhead equalizers -- in addition to being tre-Euro 1980s -- so you could reach up and adjust 50 Mhz while bombing down the autobahn.

"Inside are the B+B 928 Targa are the accoutermonts of prime wealth," wrote Car and Driver.

It was hideous, but somehow attractive in a cool 914 kind of way. That makes it amazingly fresh in my eyes, and perfect for PCA concours events.

and a thing. Nice taste I've got an Acapulco I'm SLOWLY restoring for my dad. He found it about 8 years ago behind "Bubbas" shop and gave him $200.00 for it.
