Hi does anyone know if there is an accessories catalog available for the 1970 model year? I found this one for 1972:

I'm looking to change out my hub cap steel wheels but I want to know what the options were for that year.
For the 1970 914/4 there were only the 4.5" and 5.5" steel rims. The choice there was either the base model 914 or the delux model with the wider rims. The Pedrini alloy then was an option in 1971.
No accessories catalog for 1970 exists.

thank you davep! and the hubcaps (in the US) were standard vw hubcaps without the vw stamped in them correct? Was there ever a porsche crested hubcap option?
Crested hub caps only available on the -6 borrowed from the 911. Stock hub caps were unstamped VW Type 3

I don't think I have ever seen a 914 with the bull bar bumper extensions. I had no idea those existed. I guess I still have not seen them, just the graphic that shows where they would go. I can't imagine they were very popular.

The bumper protectors were a pretty common add-on back in the early 70's. I saw many 914's with them. Not a fan personally, but they did the job I guess.
Crash/Push bars were a hot ticket on early 911's.

My car had the Amco Crash Bars Installed by the Dealer, along with
the wood dash inserts.
Original owner picked them out of an Amco Catalog in the showroom.
They grew on me... and did save the car from damage when it was parked
on the streets of Boston in the 70’s.
I have a new set that have never been on a car and was planning on
putting them on my car when finished.
But I bought new stainless bumpers and I’m not inclined to drill holes in them..
They will stay in storage ..
