Very cool story. Our 914's earn respect one ride at a time. I have taken a few people for rides in my car and they are left stunned by the ride and handling. beerchug.gif

The red car looks great...Looks like 16x7 wheels on slightly stretched rear fenders...whatever he did, it has a great stance/presence in my eyes.

Great article from Hemings. I smile every time I read that someone doesn’t understand why Porsche didn’t put a higher powered motor in the 914’s. The answer is obvious: the sales of the 911 would have tanked. A 916-6 could have been a mini super car if Porsche had sold them with the hipo six cylinder motors used in the 911S and 911R cars.
