is there any way to take a leaking pushrod tube seal and do something (short of replacing it) to make it no longer leak?

drain the oil

install a vac. pump to create negative crankcase pressure

take it out, clean it, put it back in ...

dry.gif Sounds like to me your car has a SERIOUS case of A.D.D. laugh.gif Push rod tubes, then oil cooler, then pressure switch, then push rod tubes all in 2-3 days

Just turn this into a bigger maintenance project. wink.gif

Replace the leaking seal. ( Or, go big and replace all the seals ). Change the oil, filter and adjust all the valves.
Spend two or three hours and get some things done.
