914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Who's car is this?

This is a new advertisement from Israel, in Hebrew. It's interesting to note that 914 we're never sold there although I know of at least 2 that were imported as collectibles cars. One metallic blue and one orange (the owner was selling carbon fiber dashes on this site)
That was funny as heck. I hope that goat does not drive angry.

Haha that was funny.
Interesting treatment to the targa bar on the 914.

I like that top treatment. Would love to see it fitted with a soft window in the 912 soft-window targa vein.
Oh, and the goat's cool too.

My sister saw one last year and let me know. She lives in Jerusalem. The commercial could have been made anywhere.

I think the car was photoshopes since the goat in the back sits in the engine department. There's also a frontal shot that shows the rear window with some sticker in the middle, window that was deleted for the convertible top.

That was movieshopped! In the first few shots, you can clearly see the curved yellow wing of the targa bar plus there's a sticker in the center of the rear glass.
Also, in the shots where you see the second goat, the lines of the supposed rubber seals in the rear are all blurry (fake) while the rest of the real trim looks sharp.

That's what I was thinking, the first shot shows the normal targa bar. The second is photoshopped or movieshopped.
The goat is clearly the star of the show.

I say this as probably the only member here who has both a yellow 914 and Hebrew in my signature:

Funny ya'll - that just brightened my day - especially since we all focused in on the "soft targa" . . .or, perhaps more accurately, a landaulet, if the targa top is on . . .

אין עזים פה. רק ילדים. באנגלית שניהם גם “Kids”

For what it's worth, I checked with a friend who lives in Israel.
Yellow is a convenience store attached to gas stations. Think Wawa or Sheetz.
The song in this commercial is a parody of a popular song from the early 1980's. So they wanted the commercial to include a car that was representative of the time period. (Spoiler: they're off by a few years.)
Didn't get any closer to finding out the provenance of the car in the spot.

The original song won 2nd place in 1983 at the Eurovision song competition, in Munich
