914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 8 spoke Empi style wheels

What is the rim width on these wheels? Or did they come in various widths?
Thanks unsure.gif

They where all 5inch as far as I know. Be careful. They have the VW offset not the 914 offset. Very difficult to get anything wider than a 195 on them and not have them rub (I'm sure somebody has done it..)

Thanks Guys.
The car already has them on it and has 205 Michelins on it.
1974 2.0L with minor surface rust in a few readily accessable spots on the fenders.
Guy has owned it since 1976. A real virgin...no factory sway bars, no accidents, blah blah blah.
Body is extremely straight, gaps look good. everything is there and works.
SSIs, Bursch, Corbeau race seats, 5 point belts, harness bar, momo wheel
console, fogs, includes all the original stuff like seats etc...
Just needs a little TLC.
Battery tray is clean, no rust in rear trunk
Will have a PPI done a Sportech this week to check it out more completely and have the compression checked out.
this might be the one

The best part...he says he will take $2K since he no longer drives or needs the car.

Good for you!
I scored my '74 2.0 for $2200 a year and a half ago.
I think the days of cheap/free 914's are coming to an end.

This car is going to be a track car right?

Yesssss!!!
Will probably run in GGR Class BI or BP depending on how I finally set it up. since it is a virgin with suspension...I will see what I can come up with. This will be my 3rd 4 banger 914 and I want to try some different things.
I may go to BP even though the motor will be stock....
I want to use big gun drilled front torsion bars, large front sway, Konis etc., 180# rears, with threaded shock body.
And then get it corner balanced, and as low as possible, with max neg camber.
Looking forward to a light AX car again.
