Looks like they *REALLY* don't like the cold:

QUOTE
Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before they are flexed in any manner, such as by adjusting inflation pressures, mounting them on wheels, or using them to support, roll or drive a vehicle.

I've not had that issue with other summer high performance tires. I don't drive them when its cold, but I have had to move the car and not had the tire sidewall crack.

I don't think those would be appropriate tires for western oregon.

I only drive it on nice days. Zero snow or ice this year. Current tires are Dunlop Direzza Star Specs Extreme performance summer tires. Good grip, but wrong diameter. Need to get back to the right size.

My tires came with a warning label that said to prevent them from being stored in a garage that drops below freezing. I keep a little heater running when it gets cold. Makes the garage more inviting in the winter too

That's a Summer tire.

I bring my competition tires into the garage over the winter. They really, really do not like sub-freezing weather.

the michelin pilot sports I have on a few of my cars all have that same temperature warning. When its that cold here the roads are all icy or snowy and they have zero traction even on a flat surface.

Can't vouch for that model, but my 914 wears Vredestein T-Tracs in 165/80R15

I wanted something with modern design and handling but in an original size.

Been quite happy with them.

Has anyone had specific experience with these tires was what i think the original ask was?

Just put a set on my ‘72 they feel great, much easier turning circle, no squeal like the Eagle GT’s.
45*F is tough but I’m in Los Angeles, I wait for temps to hit the mid 60’s before I head out.
The one thing I really hate is the look of the sidewalls, 3 spinning candelabras, large lettering and the designers name. Fugly, but I don’t have to look at them from where I sit.

No experience with that model. Have used this one and they are fine if not vintage looking.

I think that's what Matt Carey put on the green car.
Being old (like you Doug biggrin.gif ) I saw a set of new CN36's on an early 911 at Rothpsort.
Brought back memories. But no 195s.

I put a set of Sportrac-5 's on my 74 2.0 in November and love them. Granted I am in SW FL but the 195/60R 15's fit great inside the rear fenders and they are smooth to drive and grub very nicely, also very quiet with no road noise. Definitely glad I chose them!

I haven't got them yet, but been looking at a set of these for my bumblebee to give it that original look when i get her back on the road. Sounds like the compound is pretty aggressive as well.
