Seller had it listed on CL but went ahead and sold it to pick-n-pull. Maybe a complete car, maybe good for parts, just passing the info.
Good hunting...

Grab that motor!!!
He said Oakland but must have meant:
Pick-N-Pull
(510) 233-7341 1015 Market Ave
Richmond, CA
He is from Alameda...
if you gget the motor, get the tranny too... he had to flip one or the other to make it work... and the tranny was probably easier...

reverse cam. |
flipped diff introduces other possible weaknesses. reverse cam is the way to go. Dr evil used to have a corvair motor.....
dunno about the 911 tranny though. makes sense.
Grab the whole freekin thing...
I bet pick and pull would be glad to get rid of it....

pick and pull in modesto has cars that are for sale...
interesting.
When they get a car, they make the decision to sell whole or parts. Once they choose parts, they fill out paperwork with DMV, and it stops being a car and becomes parts. I once saw a car in the off limits area that hadn't been moved to the yard yet. They had already filed the paperwork, so I couldn't buy it.

Has anyone verified that this car is at the Richmond pick-n-pull and available for parts pulling?

Sorry Royce, there is an Oakland PNP as you found out too late:
OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA
8451 San Leandro St.
Oakland, CA 94621
Here's link for future ref: http://picknpull.com/
Ok, I have indeed verified that there is NOT a 914 in the Richmond pick-n-pull. I did not get to the Oakland one in time. Do any people more local (it's a 4 hour drive for me) care to see if it's in the yard? I may make the trek again if it looks to be worth it.

I don't think they allow cameras, but if you can sneak one in.. I'm in no big hurry.

Why? 911 Transmissions run that direction. Mike was rebuilding the motor anyway so he used the reverse cam. I tried to convince him to use the reversed differential. |
yea i remembered right.
