sorry I feel better now.
you should warn people before posting that...
we can only hope that it's a one of a kind, never to be reproduced
do what you want, not my cup o' though...
last pic kinda cool... engine/trunk...
Wow, other than the paint scheme and headlight area, me like!
I've never seen it or any body kit like it before.
Ferg.
Where did you find that???
Hate the paint job but love the profile.
Doug C
I should have said paint "scheme" because it's a really good "job"

tell me thats not made of steel
That would be too cool...
Front fascia taken from a camaro??? Side scoops look like boxster. The rest appears to be hand made.
Paint doesn't thrill me but the profile is killer. I wasn't going to flare or modify my car but if I could find a kit like this available I sure would. Please let me know what you find out.
Yea that has to be one of the better kits I have seen. I wonder who does make it. Was the owner around??
What happens when you roll up the windows?!?!
By far the best butchering of the targa bars I've seen, but it's not really a 914 anymore.. the door handles are all that's left.
HOLY BATMAN
Man I like that thing. Its the best job of a hot rod 914 I've seen. Alot of time has been spent on it.
Bob
I'd like to take it to the next PCA Parade.
Those ol' guys would shit....
Paul
Like it or not, someone has done a very nice job of it. I agree with BONDO, nice sail panel/targa bar treatment (from the side view anyway).
Andy
The height of the lights, what with they're being illegal and all, make it cop bait. Other than that, it's a nice effort (if you don't mind the paint scheme). The Cap'n

OMG - mattr is spot on...
looks like a 'maro front end....boxster side scoops....
It almost looks "Foosed".
I just took a closer look.. Why keep the headlight notches in the front trunk if no headlights are there? And KYBs? Ugh. The only hope is that they're only there to hold the car up for now (since it's clearly not quite finished)

The anticipation is killing me.. when are you going to post some "peeks"? (I've seen the flares.. drool.) |
So which one is that, Fast or Furious?
Like a lot of people here I do like aspects of it. The side scoops look like new MR2 to me, not Boxster.
Luckily it's only a model (nice photochopping, Gwen).
I really like it. One of the best attempts of a hot rod 914 that I have seen.

I seem to remember somebody saying that there was a top secret project going on that they couldn't talk about. Something about pushing the limits or something like that. I wonder if this is it?

it needs the windsheild layed back
but i do like the shape
Driver can't be over 5' 7" with that raked down roof line.
Camaro fenders and front seems like an SS version of mini-me. (chopped and channeled)
With all that time into the body I wonder why they didn't do a trick suspension?
$20,000 for body work and paint.
$150 for struts.
Like it was stated already. It's probably not done yet..

A friend of my dad's sent me the link. Here it is http://www.carsbybobby.com/.
Yup, no windows in the doors. And a stock mirror.. that seems odd.
Side profile kind of looks like an old version of the GT 40.
What the hell is this bar for?
To keep you from getting in the car?
