I have both 5/16 and 3/8 byhtle tape. Looking at both, 5/16 looks to small, 3/8 a little to big. I'm going to use Mikey's Black rubber windshield seal so I'm leaning towards the 3/8th. Any help. Thanks, Mark

If safety is a concern, use urethane.

I heard somewhere.... that urethane is to be used if installing the rubber trim?

I could be wrong I guess others will chime in.

Please do not use urethane. Apparently it secures the windshield so securely that when our cars flex, and they will flex, it can crack the windshield. beerchug.gif

If you have a ZXG Iā€™d use 5/16ā€, stock windshield use 1/4ā€

Just went through this with XYG glass. Use 5/16". 3/8" is too thick. You can make it work, but better off with 5/16".

Thanks all, 5/16 it is. Best, Mark
