big effin deal if they rub a bit.. I havbe 225's on my 914 up front, they rub only when turned at maximum lock..and they only rub on the inner fender.....

you will not apply that much wheel on the track... or finding your way around some cones

usually

roger - these are my street wheels....

got me 205 schtickies for the AX

I'd say give it a little flare.... You dont want it to rub on your street wheels.

Or run it with a baseball bat roll for a while, see if it rubs....

then flare as needed!

lol

good luck

My race car has had the 9x23x15 slicks on 15x7 wheels since 1978. The fronts fit fine with no flares or rubbing and the rears had the fenders stretched by the slicing method. I finally sent with the GT style flare so I could run some spacers front and rear to widen the track an inch and a half. The vintage 2L 914s all run 225s up front w/o problems as far as I know.

Aaron I've got 225x40s all the way 'round, on 16x7s all the way 'round
I did a bit of a flare on the rears, but the front no mods at all
the tires rub very minimally, a dolly and a hammer and a bit 'o paint for the rear quarters, depending on your level of perfection
i like the set up!

That is a a good question....it is set up for road application, the Scarlot Harlot is going in for an alignment soon, due to one of my stuts being bent dry.gif
