Anyone have experience with these injectors? I have them fitted to my recently acquired 73 1.7 with standard Djet.
My car is currently running very rich / flooding and the injectors are heading to a local specialist for testing as we suspect one of them is sticking.
The alternative is they are the wrong spec for the car. Anyone else run them?

Nice you figured out what they are. That is almost 100cc too much for a 1.7.

I believe that green top injectors are for the 1.8liter engines. The yellow top ones are for the 1.7 liter engines.

Green 2.0, yellow 1.7?
Replacement , I put these in my 2.0 while the Bosch we're sent out for service. Fj67 worked well. No issues. Add the seal kit.
Maybe check the FJ114?

I have been using those Rock Auto sourced FJ114 fuel injectors on my 1.7 Liter for several years and am very happy with them.

OK, that would account for our inability to trace the rich running / flooding. I did see in correspondence from the PO that the supplier claimed they were compatible with a 914 1.7 Djet. I was hoping maybe that one or more of the injectors were either sticky or leaky but I guess what you're suggesting is they're not compatible at all.

No, they are compatible--they spray a metered amount of fuel just fine.
It's just that it's the wrong amount for a 1.7 engine. They can probably be made to inject the right amount for a 1.7, but it will require work to the rest of the FI.
It's a fine difference between "compatible" and "correct", but it's there. Especially if you are selling the parts.

Thanks Dave - would this be a complex way of doing things or would it be simple ie tweaking fuel pressure? I would need to order replacement injectors from the US so that would take a while so if tweaking is relatively straightforward that would be an option for sure.
What is the correct metered about a 1.7 injector should deliver?

Dave,
I am pumping up my 1.7 to a 1911 in my rebuild. Would the 2.0 injector work in that situation... its closer to 2 liter, but still running off the 1.7 brain and other parts. I am afraid the 1.7 injectors will run lean. Any info would be great.
