Will appreciate advice from the community regarding a person/business that provides the service of restoring/refurbishing stock 2.0L Distributors?

Specifically, for Fuel Injection application setup.

Thanks in advance.

Redmond European sent mine to a friend of theirs.

Great. Thank you Jett.

Redmond is not too far from me here in Snohomish.

Anyone in particular at Redmonad European that I should ask for?

BTW: Did their contact do a great job restoring your 914 Distributor?

Thanks,

Tom

Ask for Monty, the owner. The distributor is awaiting install next week, but will let you know how it goes.

Do either of these rebuilders replace weight springs too?

Posted by: Tommy B Sep 7 2021, 01:17 PM

I'll check with "Houston" regarding the Weight Springs and if they check and if they can replace correctly.

What other items/actions do you consider are important with a good, reliable Distributor restoration?

Thanks,

Tom

Since you ask, can the vacuum canister be tested and repaired too?

Tested yes, repaired NO.
