My 914 (Reinhold) just got a sponge bath. After that I watched "Cry Macho" & I highly recommend it. It's a classic IMHO.
Lol… where you been?!?
Good overall, a little slow in spots.
I didn't care for it.
It's also sad to see Clint Eastwood as an Old Man
Grrrr- I feel the degradation every time I have to carry, reach for, remember where I left, replace when crushed in my pocket ( I refuse to carry the hard case ) . . . an object foreign to my body that is required for me to read anything within an arm length.
Mind you, I feel “lucky” (I guess) that I don’t need them to drive (yet).
On that day - utter dejection may set in. . .
Hold on, I need to find those infernal readers(and the headlight), so I can change these 50 year-old rear wheel bearings. Guess the late 40’s were a turning point (downward spiral) for them too.
Getting old sucks but it beats the alternative.
As we age the only thing good is that you become somewhat wiser
One foot in the grave and one on a banana peel
I buy the cheapest reading glasses I can find, I leave the magnification sticker on the lenses and I leave them everywhere I might need to see something small.
In a pinch you can stack multiple glasses to see the really small stuff (soldering electronics).
Age brings wisdom & wisdom brings more questions than answers. This was implied in a later part of this movie.
Got the glasses. Still waiting for the wisdom.
