My 914 that I purchased arrived yesterday and damn, what a sick car. Even better than I imagined, I got chills when I started poking around it. I purchased the car from a forum member, John and it was a pleasure working with him. Took it for a spin around the neighborhood and all I can say is I did not want to go home
It tucks nicely into our old small garage! Oh, and I finally had to tell my wife that I bought a 914
Looking forward to becoming part of this community!
Cheers,
Chad

Congratulations......and now the fun begins.....
Congratulations!
So cool! Congratulations! Many happy miles wished for ya.
looks great . I like the hub caps. I bought one without telling my wife as well.
She still gives me $hit about it.
Congratulations. You are in rarified air getting to drive your 914 right away. A lot of us had to wait for that day. Have a lot of fun. I would still go over all the usual stuff to establish a maintenance baseline.
Good deal!
Awesome, congratulations!
Congrats, we see why you are smiling
Great looker
Oscar
Your car looks comphy , nice luv
Nice car!! I also had a Chevy Luv 4x4 in mint condition with all the original stickers. Gutless on the street, but awesome off road.
Congrats! That looks like a clean 914!
Was driving my 3.2 to get groceries - the weather had improved. I kept saying to myself how much I love this car. Glad to hear you love yours.
That is a very cool car. Love white. love steelies with hubcaps Enjoy!!!
Congrats on the teener.
I also had yellow Chevy LUV.
Fun truck.
Congratulations and Welcome.
Big congrats and I hope you really enjoy it!

Congratulations, that's a keeper. PO had a thread on the cleaning and detailing of the car, you should review the efforts he made to do it right.

welcome to our mid-engine madness!! And cheers to you Chad.
Congrats, lots of fun. What year and engine?
Love the Basics..
Awesome!
Looking Good Chad the 914 will share the LUV with your Chevvy truck !
Congrats! I’m so glad you can drive and enjoy your 914 right out of the gate.
I bought my first 914 (basket case) exactly 4 years ago - an original paint ivory white 1.7 - much like your except mine has the early positive Porsche stripe, and it’s drivetrain was (and still largely is) in pieces- lol.
Besides purchasing a nice L80E whose cleaning was well documented here, joining 914World was easily your best move - these guys and gals are the best - and a true wellspring of knowledge and support.
Enjoy your journey . . .and yep, telling the wife about the 2nd 914 on the way is, well, an exponential “experience.”
Congrats once again Chad! You can't go wrong with light ivory and steelies.
chad
may the sun shine out of your arse for a 1000 years for getting your hands on that car.
Congratulations and enjoy the ride! It’s a cool car!
Again very cool and wise fortunate choice of cars. That resto story is one of my favorite here on the world!!
drive it like you stole it!
Nice score, congrats!
Congrats Chad and welcome to 914World. However, to become a full fledged member you need to show us your lift or set of jack stands. No true 914 owner just drives their car.
It makes a lot of sense that a Luv owner also owns a 914.
Do something nice for your wife.
Welcome and congratulations.
Congrats and
My nephew had a Chevy Luv and he put a V8 in it.
Congratulations and welcome here ! Enjoy it, they are such fun cars !
Antoine
