OK,
I took pictures prior to taking the system apart, but did not get the angle necessary for the drop link to figure out if the bent part goes UP or does it go down?
Well, I played with it for a while thinking I could think like a German...........didn't work.
Here are some pictures,................embarrassing....
The Bendy part is at the top of this picture
This is the straight part

Pretty sure the bendy-end goes on the a-arm, oriented so the the bend makes the top end link “lean” toward the mounting hole on the sway bar bracket. In any case, It should only fit one way.. the bendy-end on top will push the bottom end of the link left or right (flipped one way or the other), while the bendy-end on the bottom pushes the top end forward or back.

The straight end goes up. The bottom angles toward the center of the car.

So,
I have two answers, they are confusing me - my fault........
If I understand this ,
The bendy part is on the BOTTOM attached to the A-ARM
The STRAIGHT part is on TOP
I just installed it that way and it does not seem correct. I have the bendy leaning toward the MIDDLE of the car
Perhaps the car is bent?????? I will check that next!
