I picked up a pair of seats from a local classic car mechanic. They were all covered in dust up in his loft, and he couldn't remember where they came from.
They seem to fit pretty well, and I think look suitable for the era. And lots more side-to-side support than the stock seats. The previous seat that I was using (which you can see in the driver's spot) is comfy, but just too big and you sit too high.
I also had a couple adaptor brackets fab'ed up so that I could still use the stock seat rails. I even added some 914 bling which, unfortunately, you can't really see once the seats are installed. (Excuse all the washers under the bracket -- I hadn't cut the bolts down yet.)
Does anybody recognize the seat by any chance?
perhaps from a Brickand or another kit car like a GT Bradley so sexy
Those look like dune Buggy or kit car seats. That design has been around for years.

Nice adapter brackets..
They look like those generic race buckets you can buy new on Jegs for $35
So just some cheap generic seats. Boring, oh well.
But I still like them!
Thats all that matters!
