Had a terrific time at the Red Barn as expected. Chris and Lori are terrific hosts and they even had a small petting zoo with little kittens that were looking for forever homes. The weather was perfect.
Great turnout; my brother and I had a blast talking to everyone and looking at all the cars that showed up. But Chris' car ... just WOW! It is looking so perfect and sounds so good.
I took photos but they are almost identical to ones already posted, so I won't post them.

Thanks Chris and Lori,
I had a great time, it was nice to catch up and see some old faces and meet a few new people.
One highlight yesterday was when Harry and I stopped off at a shop in the Bay Area on the way to Petaluma that had a 959 on a lift with the wheels off. It was so cool to see it up close and in person while standing underneath it.
Another dream machine of mine was a real 924 Carrera GT sitting there on the shop floor.

@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=172 - Awesome video of the attendees and their cars. We need to institutionalize this as part of every WCR. For folks who couldn't attend, it's a nice glimpse into the owners and the wide, wide variety of what's what with all the cars. Next best thing to being there!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Eddie and Mondā, it was a great event and we had a super time.
Thanks to Oscar, Elvira, Jerry, Francine, Josh, Adelita, Kent and JP for the caravan with us.
Thanks to Chris for the wonderful BBQ at his place.
And I'd like to thank everyone who voted my car for best original (more garage wall stuff yeah).
We will see you next time
Mike
P.S. I'd also like the thank the US government for the price of fuel ($782) to get us to and from the event. LOL
Finally made it home.
Thank you Eddie and Monda for hosting.
It was wonderful to hangout with everyone

@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=25165 Lance - cool drone footage! Thanks for that. And wonderful meeting you and your dad! I’d say “kick some ass at Cal Poly!” but I’m pretty sure you’ve got that in the bag. Keep up the tasteful upgrades on your car and let us know if there’s anything we can do to help.
Our sincerest and heartfelt thank you to Eddie and Mondā as well as everyone else that worked so hard to make this event happen!
You all are why our obsession continues to keep us coming back for more.
Finally got all of the 101 salt spray off of the outside and inside of the car, wow. 1300 miles in 3 days was a lot, but it was a blast, and it was great to meet so many new friends. I hope to keep in touch and attend more events in the future.
One thing I will add is that I don’t need to use the ramps to get in and out of my driveway/garage in the offroad configuration :)
