Hi all. Glorious Sunday in Toronto, Ontario.

Added some 10mm sound deadening and heat shield to the car. Turned out pretty good. Did the doors as well and makes a remarkable difference. Bought 1 set (36 SQFT) of this stuff from Amazon for $55: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08SWB5DFF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and for $13

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B071HX8JNK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and about 3 hours of work on the floor, rear and doors. Cheap addition.

Nice job! This material is 10mm thick!

Looks more like foam compared to the other material like Killmat that is thinner and pretty dense. I assume the foam is lighter but will that dampen vibration as well?

I remember reading a thread on this and there were a few things that came into considerations but I forget what was the consensus...

It is a bit thick - sorry I mis-stated the thickness but it's working well. Has decreased the noise in the cabin when the top is on.
