What part am I missing to keep clutch cable from popping out of bracket at transmission?

There is a clip missing. 914rubber sells them.

This... It goes around the end of the cable sleeve and the prong goes into the hole on the side of the cable mount.

You're also missing the boot that goes on the end of the cable sleeve.

You are missing the clip, it is in this listing, it goes on first, than the boot.
You will need a punch to bend the tab through the small hole that secures it.
