Several years ago i bought my son a poster that i had on my wall when i was his age (11) and we decided to try and find the exact cars' models. And by exact i mean we want the same car number and everything. It has been a bit of a challenge and hoping others may have good suggestions on best places to source. We have already compomised on two of them in terms of the number on the side.
So far we have found 8, 6 of which we picked up at the museum in Stuttgart a couple weeks ago including the #40 GT. Anyone else gone down this path?
Here is the poster
And the cars we found so far
This is awesome! Where are you getting the models from? I see one from the museum.
So 6 of them came from the museum actually! Moby Dick and #23 came from this site:

I am hoping there are some collectors here with dups willing to sell or a good source i havent found yet.
Anybody have leads on getting these models?
a few places online might have more for you. Try https://www.cartima-modelcars.de/ or https://selectionrs.com/en/628-porsche You can also keep your eyes peeled on eBay, sometimes the rarer ones pop up. I'd aim to stick to Spark or Make-Up, Minichamps is pretty good sometimes. Auto-Art are good, but don't have much of a selection.
I've got a pretty good set, I've had to pare back a bit as I didn't want to have my office l; look like a hoarder.
Awesome! Who makes the #22 rsr?
Thanks so much. Your collection is stellar!
I couldn't find the Al Holbert IMSA #14 on the website.
I've been looking for that for a while in 1/18 scale.
I found the one i have at the factory store last month during our visit!
Found it for you

That was awesome. Found three more on that site. Thanks!!
That poster has been hanging in my house since 1990!
Thanks for the links to Holberts 962 I’ve been trying to find that in 1/18.. He’s one of my heroes.
Cheers.
I had it my room as a boy now my son has the same. I am not entirely sure who this is actually for lol.
Al Holbert was a hero for sure. So capable on every front. Here is a shot of him i took in the 80s at lime rock. My dad is right behind him in the glasses and behind the rope.
