914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Heater Fan wire cable

Posted by: akp2002 May 2 2023, 10:55 AM

The last owner removed the heater fan and I am reinstalling and can't find the wires that go from the Relay Board to the fan. Is this a separate cable and does anyone have an extra?

What year is your car? These wires changed locations over the years.

70-72, heater fan connects to the ignition harness.

73-76, heater fan connects to a double box connector emanating from the chassis harness near the relay board.

Car is 1970. It should be a big brown connector and I can't see it any where near the distributor?

It is on the other side of the engine compartment. I think it is two single connectors.
