I was going through some old pictures and I stumbled across this one. Back in the day I was in a mini-truck club here in the Valley called Mini Concepts. This picture is me taking a picture of the photographer doing a photoshoot of my truck and a buddy's truck for the cover of Mini-truckin' Magazine. If I recall it was about 1990. Fun stuff. My truck is the blue one. Everything was shaved, walk-thru to the bed, tailgate welded and smoothed. Basically a stereo on wheels. Between my truck and my mullet, I had complete punk-ass status.

1965 Jeep CJ-5 - rock crawler - sold to a friend in Colorado it is much happier there.
1973 Karmann Ghia - modified 40 mpg - saw a high of 46mpg going to Cali - you are missed.
1974 914-2.0 - current auto-x junkie
1990 VW Fox Sport - great little commuter still going strong see it around the town
1986 VW Scirrocco - 8V modified with turbo from a Rabbit Turbo Deisel not sure where this one is now
1998 Jetta TDI - Modified for 153 HP at the wheel still gets 40-45 mpg depeding on how much go you give it. My current daily
1970 914-6 - orginal shape and keeping it that way.

The wife had a
Nissian Sentra
Astro van over 350 K miles
Astro Van over 450 K Miles
Astro Van @ 165 K miles it was owned.gif
Now has 2003 Chebbie Truck tows the boat, the car, etc....

All the above are in purchased order
I am in the need of something new 40+ mpg, hadles like a slot car and drives like a dream. Lotus Elisle comes to mind, but I am cheap. SO maybe I will do a build a cheap mid-engine with a TDI transplant.

Take care, Stephen

Here's me in my first car. 1969 Plymouth Valiant. Grandma bought it new in '69. I had it from about '86 to '94. Picture was taken probably in '87 (the year I graduated HS). We were skipping school and going skiing. Hard to believe that's almost 20 years ago.

I made a collage once of some cars I've had. It leans heavily towards British stuff because I was in the brit car business for a couple decades. I have since left the Dark (lucas) Side. Upper left was my first ride...age 10...my dad and I built it. Top center is me taking a hot lap at watkins Glen in Volvo P1800S on my HS graduation trip 1966. Yes...I'm very old.

Get rid of the 2000 Cummins...

That would cover a decent used Miata.

Originally had Pedrini alloys, negative stripes, and was L20C(Nepal orange barf.gif ). What all would an appearance group '75 have besides that stuff? DAPO had the car painted and sold the rims separate. Sanded off the stripes before he had it painted.
