Don’t have an answer for you, but I’d love to see pictures of your car. White with some decent sized tires under that fender…looks like a nice ride.

I think they are fetching closer to $1K now in the condition your valance appears to be in. Very nice looking 6 BTW. beerchug.gif

In 2018 I paid $600.00 for a used one in good condition.

They go for more now. Probably around $900 or more.

If it was mine, I’d be asking $1k. Rare and tough to find in good shape.

That almost looks NOS!

Is it brand new Porsche?

I think those prices are for good used ones, not NOS.

Might be the last new one on the planet...

If truly new it might be worth your while to sell it on BAT.

I saw a set of used Mikunis for a Z-car hit 6,600.

Insane!

Edit: Just had a thought...
If it really is NOS, it might be nice to let Restoration Designs have a chance to scan it if they don't have that part in their data yet.
If I had it, I'd give them a call...

Wondering??
Is a 914-6 Rear Valance the same dimensions as the 914-4 Rear Valance?
Can it be modified by a skilled 914er to work?
I have a steel rusty 914-4 that's cheap or free if anyone's interested.

Hi Tom,

Your 914-4 rear valence pictured is a '73 and up version. They reduced the depth of the valence partly because it restricted airflow under the car and, under certain conditions, acted like a road grader or snow plow.

I pulled the attached early valence picture from another post here. It's from a '70 914-4.

The primary difference between the - 6 and -4 deep valences was that the holes for the exhaust pipes were of different sizes and in slightly different locations.

Below are pictures of a modified early -4 valence that incorporated the left exhaust pipe hole to fit the dual tips.
