Hi,
I am putting my 914-6 back together and not sure of the condition of this control unit. I am looking for any suggestions of where I can send this to have a checked out and potentially rebuild if necessary. Thanks!

I am unaware of any source who can test these? was the control unit working previously?

Send it to Pelican, they'll rebuild it for $339 bucks.

go to partsklassik porsche to get their CDI box an updated version that eliminates all the problems with the original.truly a great improvment.

my experience has been great over many years after going the "6 cyl " conversion.
Got a nice loom off Perry,and Bob helped me opitmize my ignition after buying his tach adapt ,it has been a really good reliable system since then and he give his extensive knowledge freely ,cheers.

Ashlock is the best and a nice guy. He even offers an upgraded version and takes yours as a core I believe. Warrantied for as long as he is alive
