The Speedometer angle drive is missing something on the end/side of it, but still turns just fine, but was wondering if the missing part, can even be gotten, and fixed?
No repair, pressed in piece.
Nope. Thats a gonner.
Is the part that screws the cable on, worth saving?
The get more expensive and harder to find every day. Bite the bullet and get a new one now
I think everyone has misunderstood the photo/question. If you turn either end of the angle drive and the other end turns freely and easily, it's good. What I see is the remnants of a broken speedometer cable still attached to the angle drive. Loosen the big silver nut and remove what's left of the cable.
Edit: jeez. Duh, now I see it...
