914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Multi-point, quick-connect, male-spade connectors ?

Posted by: Literati914 Sep 28 2023, 04:11 PM

I know I’ve seen them somewhere , but can not find the place anywhere.. I’m looking for the single unit male quick connect units for sharing multi grounds etc (6 spades or so), like what you have at the shared ground spots near the headlights (on some year models). I’m probably using the wrong search terms, but I’ve tried a few different ones. Anyone know who has them?

Dorman has something like that. I saw it at a FLAPS, no part number though.

I found a picture of what I’m talking about in a thread that’s several years old, on another site. I didn’t think these would be hard to track down. Right side of pic:

I used Google to search for the image of the ground point and came up with this from the GoWesty websight. There is no discussion of the tab width, but i would think it is 0.25" like most other VW ground lugs.

Hope this helps,

I'd drill that hole out and use a larger stud on that ground tree. That small screw just doesn't look secure for so many ground points.

Hey @http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=21877 , of course I searched Google (it had no idea what I was talking about).. but searching with a picture ? Genius! Thanks - but, um, can someone refresh my memory of how that’s done shades.gif . Cut and paste only brings up my pic @ 914world (where’s the embarrassed emoji at?)

I cropped the picture you had so it only had the ground point, then did the search.

I like that one, my Mexi-Bug has something similar in the Frunk. Made it easy when I added a few gauges and radio.
