So, I'm putting a carbureted 3.0 into my 914. I've just installed the motor into the start cart, and amongst other things I need to set up the fuel system. I'm shifting the pump installation from its factory location to the frunk.
There are a ton of pumps on the market. Is there a specific pump that the collective has found to work best?
And yay, or nay on a regulator? Some of the pumps I've researched appear to have adjustable internal regulation, but do they have sufficient fidelity?
I'd certainly appreciate any advice.
And, I know you lot like pictures, so here's one of the motor freshly installed in the cart...
Peerburg pump with a regulator.
It is quiet, and reliable.

They also have a fuel pump mount that uses the steering rack bolts so you don't have to drill any holes. But it is not on the website. You have to call and ask about it.
Using the Carter LP pump and Holley silver LP regulator (1-4 psi ) mounted on my alloy front crossmember ,had this setup from the start of my 2.2T conversion ,works very well and had no issues.
CB Performance sell the same pump but found it more expensive, can't remember but think I got mine from Summit Racing, cheers.
Thanks for the replies, fellas.
Anyone else?...
