When people go for a smooth, painted targa top, do they fill the low spots first, and then sand, or just sand them down?
Haven't done it myself, but seen a few smooth tops. If I remember correctly, you can sand smooth without filling, but be careful not to sand through the gel coat. If you do, I guess you could always apply gel coat to cover up any exposed fibers.
