I'm in the process of replacing side window seals and it appears that I can't unscrew the fuzzies rail with the window in place -- the screws are behind the window glass. Is that true and if so how do remove the window glass to access them?
You are correct. Depends on if you have the laye scissors, or worm drive.
Its pretty intuitive. There are other items that can be replaced too.
Your avatar looks like a 75 or 76, so scissor type. You need to strip the door basically. The window is basically the last item to come out. Even then you probably will have a fit removing that piece. The screws a very small Phillips head and will usually strip out when force is applied. sometimes you can reach the screw shank from behind with a pair of side cutters/dykes and get a grip to turn but otherwise you will need to drill them out with a small (3/32") bit. Small because you need to go back with another sheet metal screw and you don't want something with a large head that will negate the fuzzy strip protection.
