I remember this 914 on I94 just as you got in to the Minneapolis area. Then, it was taken down. Now it has been put back up in Lakeville South of the city. It’s at Hot Sam’s. No, I do not have the VIN!

Glad it was saved and is back up in the air. Wonder if he put it out by the highway.

MAPCO Minnie.
Grew up driving by her on 94. I actually stopped at MAPCO once many many years ago to ask about the car. I was told then that there was VERY little left up there other than the general outline from body panels. And this was like 30 years ago.

The first digit is 4.
Followed by a 7.
I can't make out the rest of the numbers.

Was almost thinking it might have been a sign to advertise something.

New owner said it will be about 10 or 12 feet in the air. May have to visit in a few weeks!

As has been said, it was MAPCO. So… it was advertisement. I saw it a lot as I went to the UofM.

My eyes are not what they once were, but I believe John is correct. I see a 4 and a 7… biggrin.gif
