i took an old female friend for a run around the docklands racetrack a month or so back - she sent me this link a few days ago!!!!!
i'm going to be seeing phoenix red hot pants floating in front of the windscreen every time i take the L jet for a run.
(if only my sister has thrashed this version on the home stereo right through 1974 i might have been a fan ---------> but it didn't stop australia from making these guys into an international smash hit. australia + swedin = go figure ????? 
- anyway the germans got this clip right, nearly as good as drop out side stripe graphics )

i'm afraid if i try to look around the swinging hot pants all i will see is a road full of women in gyrating snake skin jumpsuits and a guy playing a piano in a bus stop just before a cop jumps out from behind a bush with a radar gun disguised as a glitter guitar.

nice selection.
back when my sister was thrashing her non german language non pink hot pants version of ABBA endlessly i had this going on the turntable much to my mother's distress.
would have been coming off the presses about exactly the same time as my 1.8 was getting cursory attention in the spray booth at the karmann factory from a german with a hangover.
