What is the lowest air pressure you guys/gals use in your larger than stock (165R15) tires to get a nice ride?
Jimbo
35 psi with Mahles 195/50-15 Yoko AVS ES100 front
36psi Mahles 195/60-15 Goodyear GT4 (suck) rear
32 psi Fuchs 205/50-15 Kumho V700 all four
31 psi Diamond 15x8 205/50-15 Hoosiers all four
so between 31 and 36 - between street and track.
thanks
jim

25 ???
So conceiveably with 245x50x15 and even lower number might be ok ???
Jim
Depends on brand/model tire you are using.

26 front & 28 rear with 195's. I think that was factory.
I guess I like my tires hard.
I can't stand driving on wishy washy tires. If the side wall is rolling over then you are losing tread surface contact with the road.
Come to think of most things are better hard.
Front: 21 psi cold - 225/50/16 Yokohama A032R
Rear: 23 psi cold - 245/45/16 Yokohama A032R
These track pressures.
There is practically no sidewall deflection ... ever since the engine expired last weekend
