I will need a Electromotive HPX twin plug system for my new engine.

Who has the best prices?

I have been thinking about Clewett Engineering.

Does anyone have experience with them?

Richard Clewett is a very straightforward, honest man.
AND a 914 turbo owner.

I have an Electromotive twin plug system bought from Clewett. He's been real good to deal with, he also stocks a bunch of other misc. items with good prices. Ask for a catalog.

Clewitt pieces all the way. We run TECIII single and twin plug setups.

Richard is a good guy. Please let him know he has some friends at the 914club.

I have this article in a VW Porsche mag, and it has a 2.0 4 cylinder twin plug in it. What is the benefit from a twin plug system, and what the heck is it?

Porsche used it in the 1990 and up 3.6 liter engines to clean up emissions (more complete burn of the fuel).

Turbo guy's do it because the boost can blow the flame out from one plug...

There is really no need to do this on a type4 engine (unless its turbo'd..like the one you noticed in the mag)

Richard Clewitt doesnt carry anything for the type4 so.. Bill (I'm sure) is looking at the 6 cyl setup from Richard.

Thanks Brad, I got it now!

Thanks for the info everyone.

The motor we are building is a 2.5L six with 12.5 to 1
compression so it would need twin plugs to run on 50% race gas.
