I have a set of the typical 4 lug fuchs, with the original centercaps, same ones used on the pedrinis and mahles.
The sides are perfect on all 4, but the flat surfaces are a little "squirrelly". I thought getting a set of those adhesive-backed Porsche emblems would both cover the ugly part, as well as add a nice touch to the car.
My question: I've seen a couple of different kinds and sizes on the bay. Anyone bought a set of these before? Did they fit ok? Do you have pics?
I'm at work, and the teener is at home, so I can't go out and measure.... anyone already done the research on this?
Which ones would be better to buy?? Here's the links:
1.75 inch emblems:

2.0 inch emblems

Or aftermarket caps with emblems, 2.5 inch hole

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Third ad... 2.5" is the size of the hole the entire cap plugs into.
I think, if you have factory wheels with the factory cap, I think the 2" is the one you need.
If it is aftermarket (Repros or Rivieras or Empis) then it's the 1.75".
Just measure your cap and that will tell you...
Karl
They are the original caps.... I just went home for lunch and measured them. Seems like the 2 icks would hang over the edge.
the 1.75 might be a little small though.
The 2 inch ones will hang over the cap. I got a set of the 1.75's and they were perfect. though I would advise you to have the flat surface as flat as possible. I kind of stuck mine on and will probably need a new set one day since the caps are not flat.
Do you have a pic of how it looks??
Sorry I don't have one available, but I did look at all of the links you posted and I can only say that it fits perfect.
If it's just the stick-on crests you're looking for, check http://www.customwheelaccessories.com/wheelemblems.html
