914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Need body shop recommendation

Posted by: olav Sep 5 2005, 10:09 AM

If anyone can suggest a place around Monterey or Carmel but in San Jose/Bay Area is fine too.

I have a small bit of rust (I think!) that needs repairing.

In the picture it's just below the sail-panel molding by door. A little black dot. Sorry, that's the best pic I can muster.

Thanks!

Thanks Jeroen.

My car is about 80+ miles from Scott's place. I'll take it up there if I have too but If anyone knows a close place to me that would be coolest.

Ok great. Thanks for the suggestions.

I guess I'll make the pilgrimage to Scott's body shop since a) He a super nice guy and b ) Owns a 914-6 and c) Has done lots of work on the cars and knows them.

I thought I would just check here for a place closer to the car.

If you are going to talk to Scott, you better go up there before Thursday of this week. He is going to Italy for 3 weeks and obviously won't be there to talk to you.
