914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 5 lug rotor attachment to hubs

I’m installing these 911 struts. What kind of hardware is needed to attach these rotors to the hubs? Do I need to use locktite?

The hub is not shown in pics……it goes on spindle and is secured with nut shown in picture.

Here’s a photo with the hub. What hardware is used to attach the rotor where the screwdriver is inserted? Do I have this right?

Hello - I don't know what year your 911 parts are, but a 70-73 uses M8x22 bolts, M8 hex nuts and spring washers. The Porsche # is 900-075-079-02, but any of the fastener supply vendors (also AA, etc.) can supply good ones, a couple of bucks a throw or less. The originals were a grade 8.8, so get at least that - I might be tempted to go to 10.9. Cheers!

..also check the manual for the correct torque on those. Would suggest high temp Loctite as well.

Tony..
For my education, how difficult is it to remove mounting bolts if locktite is used. I’ve never used it in this area…….
Thanks

Here we go, grade 10 with wave washer m8 x 25 since that’s what they had, fits perfectly. Needing new wedge pins to get closer to install.
