I'm trying to get my ass end together... the redrilled hubs don't seem to fit properly inside the rotors because the rotors have a small lip on the inside which doesn't seem to fit the hub.....
anyone else have this problem??
I was able to get them to fit right by taking a very small amount of material off the ourside of the hub using a grinder. I did it consistently by rotating the hub using an electric screwdriver at the same time.
I opted to do it this way for 3 reasons:
1. The outisde of the hub has plenty of meat on it.
2. The outside of the hub is way more accessible than the inside of the brake disk.
3. I don't want to have to remember to do this next time I need new rotors.
Rotors are now on the car, and the pads are adjusted. I'm looking forward to finally having a functional handbrake on the car - not that that is particularly useful given it's STILL on jackstands.
I have late model drilled hubs with /6 rotors. Just replaced the rotors last week and I didn't have any fitment probs.
