Tonight I bolted it up to the car. This weekend I'll try to fire it off.

I'll post a notice so you can listen for it. happy11.gif

No actully there is a big fat valve in there keeping the crap out of it. wink.gif

Here is another tip from my engine builder:

When running dual valve springs, use some big fat rocker arm shaft studs or the little baby stock ones will pull out of the head. ohmy.gif

Stock on the left vs big fat on the right. biggrin.gif

But Paul, the part that threads into the head looks the same size. confused24.gif

The head end is the same size. Look at the other end.

Also had to weld up my s/p holes and redrill them for the 2.0 head locations.

But.... that thread will hold a tremendous amount of tension.... I have used them with triple springs with 500 pounds over the nose and revved to 8K with no sweat..

I use these studs on EVERY engine I build, even those that have single springs..

The weakness in the stockers is those shitty 7mm nuts! I have stripped them clean off the studs and left the rockers laying on the floor of the dyno room.

Paul, Go fire up that bitch!!

I must have misunderstood what Paul said. I thought that he said that the studs pull out of the head. rolleyes.gif

Definitely beefier looking studs. chowtime.gif

Ought to be a screamer Paul!!
