So there was a car show near by today so..... Started out okay, over 800 cars! We were the ONLY Porsche there. Other than a Mini we were the only now American car there. A few people check out the car, even asked some questions. The judging starts and they don't even look at the car as they walk by to the car next to me. He had a neat ride, but it wasn't even done! Well he got a trophy and we got stromberg.gif ! I think we will stick to Porsche a shows.

Car shows are tough.

Remember, a 914 is a ugly square hunk of metal built by a off beat german car manufacter.

Until you add emotion to it, and then it becomes a a awesome car.

So how can a judge at a car show divest himself/herself of emotion to judge the cars, when the principle ingredient to have a fine car is emotion.

Seem like its a losing proposition?

A 914 at a car show is like entering Albert Einstein in a beauty contest. As long as the other contestants don't open their mouths he doesn't have a chance. Now if all the cars had to drive around a track you'd have something.
